Who is responsible for your data
BYTEC, Lda., based in Maputo, Mozambique, is responsible for the personal data collected through this site. For any privacy question, write to general@bytec.co.mz.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form: your name, company, email, phone, the subject and the message you write. When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp: whatever you choose to share in that conversation.
The site's hosting provider logs technical data, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
What we use it for
We use your data only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and, if we go ahead together, manage the business relationship. We do not send marketing without your consent and we do not sell data to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that help us run the site and email, and only as far as that requires. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to reply to and follow them up, and delete them after two years with no further contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Cookies
On your first visit the site asks whether you accept cookies. Your answer is kept for one year in the bytec_consent cookie.
If you accept, the site also uses the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, which remembers the language you chose for one year. If you decline, that cookie is not created and the language is picked from your browser settings. You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences" at the foot of every page.
We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Write to general@bytec.co.mz and we reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page with the date it was updated.
